An accomplished litigator, Bob’s areas of expertise include personal injury and disability work, criminal defense and professional negligence in areas such medical and legal malpractice. Bob is also one of only a handful of consultants for the Supreme Court of Canada where he represents provincial attorney generals and other law firms.
Bob has been exceptionally active in the legal community throughout his career. He currently serves as a director of the Medical-Legal Society of Ottawa Carleton and is a member of the Ontario Courts Advisory Committee. Bob’s past duties include serving as president of the County of Carleton Law Association, serving on Chief Justice Howland’s Bench and Bar Committee and the Supreme Court of Canada’s Liaison Committee. In addition, Bob has regularly lectured at the University of Ottawa Law School in trial advocacy and at the Ontario Bar Admission course on criminal procedures. Away from his legal work, Bob also serves on the Board of Directors and is a past Chair of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
