Tina is originally from Dunnville, located in Southwestern Ontario. She received an Honours B.A. with Distinction in English and Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2005 and a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2008. She was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2009.
While pursuing her law degree, Tina was actively involved with Queen’s Legal Aid; she was a caseworker, group leader, and, in her final year, Operations Coordinator of the clinic. Tina also volunteered with the Queen’s Law Journal and sat on the Housing Speaks panel.
Tina is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, the Ontario Association for Family Mediation, and the Association of Family and Mediation Courts. She is currently completing an internship with UFC (Unified Family Court) Mediation Services and is in the process of becoming accredited as a Family Law Mediator.
Tina originally joined Burke-Robertson as an articling student in August 2008 and remained with the firm after her call to the Bar. Her practice consists exclusively of Family Law.
