Carol Craig is originally from Balloch, Scotland. She received an undergraduate degree in Honours History from the University of Ottawa and a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. She taught with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board for several years before pursuing an L.L.B. at the University of Ottawa. Carol graduated Cum Laude in 2006 and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2007.
While pursuing her law degree, Carol was an executive member of the editorial board of the Ottawa Law Review. She tutored a first year contracts class and was a teaching assistant to an undergraduate Engineering and the Law class. Carol was a member of the Faculty’s 2006 Wilson Moot Team and won the Top Individual Oralist award at the competition.
Carol is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Ottawa committee of the Ontario Justice Education Network. She was a cast member of the 2007 Lawyer’s Play production of “The Museum”.
Carol joined Burke Robertson in July 2007 and her practice consists exclusively of Family Law.
